For the portion in which all the contestants enter clad in national costumes, Lee wore the female hanbok, reminiscent of the style of the recent 2006 KBS drama Hwang Jin-i. She was also carrying a janggu with her when she wore her costume. Her question in the Question and Answer portion was asked by James Kyson Lee, who is also Korean. Favored by numerous pageant sites as a finalist and potential to become Korea's Miss Universe. Lee finished in the top 5 as 3rd runner-up. She ended Korea's nineteen-year drought in the Miss Universe Finals as a Finalist. The last Miss Korea to be a finalist in Miss Universe was Jang Yun-jeong, winning 1st runner-up in 1988.

son ye jin - Korean Actrees

Jeon Hye Bin

Jeon Hye Bin (전혜빈), (born on September 27, 1983) is a South Korean actress and singer known as Bin (빈). First debuting as part of a girl trio named Luv, she found mainstream success in 2005. Her single "2AM" was frequently performed, as it showcased her sexy dance abilities. However, Jeon came under heavy criticism for being overtly sexual in performances, and moved onto a second single "Bin-Go", which showed a cuter, less sexual image.

On January 21, 2006, Kim Jong Kook, Jeon Hye Bin, and Im Tae Kyung participated in Thuy Nga's Paris by Night 81 concert in California. Jeon Hye Bin performed "2AM".

An accident in early 2006 forced Jeon to have surgery done, and under the advice of others, she underwent nose and teeth reconstruction. She eventually confirmed that she underwent plastic surgery when rumors were quickly spreading about the change in her appearance. She appeared as one of the six women on Heroine 6, a popular segment on the KBS variety show Happy Sunday until it ended in 2007.
